Medical Social Services

We have Medical Social Workers who will assist the patient in securing community resources as required. The medical social worker performs the following services:

• helping families cope with the psychological hardship brought by the disease process
• providing counseling services for families who have had a loved one diagnosed with a terminal illness
• providing grief counseling for surviving family members after a death
